Its been a little while since I made a post. I have had all kind of things to attend to – one of them is the film festival in Stettin – SEFF ’16. I attended the festival as part of the FiSH staff – we have a coordinating partnership between the two festivals.
We traveled to Poland the 18.10. and came home this afternoon, the 24.10. It has been an amazing experience – I have gained experience with the planning and orgnizational aspects of film festivals.
During our stay in Stettin, we have shared our work on the SEFF ’16 Blog – See our posts from SEFF ’16 here.
Below you can browse through my week in Stettin 2016.
At the SEFF ’16 Opening Ceremony many known people attended.
Our second day we started with going for a walk in the inner city – here we located a small playground.
I went to Stettin with Quynh (beside me), Konrad (in the middle), Zsolt (who is accidently blocking Konrad) and Lenka to the far right. We are all working at the same institution in Rostock.
Our first real event was the same evening – old archive films
Every event begins with a presentation.
Since the films were only in Polish without substitles, we had fun doing other stuff…
… such as taking picures with a special glas blog.
Quynh has internship at Frieda. She wants to work with films and digital communication.
SEFF ’16 is bigger than FiSH festival – it lasts for 10 days
I met a lot of new people who were helping organising the festival.
And we hd a lot of fun!
We had ‘Volunteer’ badges.
Julia (to the right) was the coordinator for the people from Germany.
Quynh filmed our activities – here she’s in action.
At the underground museum in Stettin I learned a little Stettin – and Polish history.
I also had the pleasure to meet Karoline – she studies architecture in Stettin.
We had an event about the 2. WW. where two high school classes attended the event.

During the Polish discussion, we had a chance to relax.
